Failing to give information cost driver £1014 and 6 point endorsement
40-year-old Faustas Didziulis of Greenacre Way Shaftesbury appeared before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on september 21st.
The court heard that on 31/03/2023 at safety camera unit, Pontypridd having been required by or on behalf of the Chief Officer of Police for Dyfed-Powys, Diziulis failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence
Contrary to section 172(3) of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and Schedule 2 to the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988.
The case was proved using a Proved Single Justice Procedure
Didziulis was fined £660.00 and ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £264.00 and costs of £90.00. His driving record endorsed with 6 points.
