Felinfoel lights up for Christmas

Crowds braved the cold in Felinfoel to attend the annual Christmas Lights Switch-On.

There was plenty on offer for young and old alike. Stalls selling Christmas food including toasted marshmallows to warm up the revellers.

Carmarthenshire’s Music Service provided the traditional Christmas Carols, which floated through the village on the cold night air.

Lots of rosy cheeks, plenty of bobble hats and mittens were evident as families waited for the big moment when the switch was flicked. Town Crier Rev Eldon Phillips conducted the ceremony with a countdown accompanied by half of Felinfoel.

There were also free rides on a double decker bus from Swansea bus museum. Santa also made an appearance made  handing out selection boxes.

The event was  made possible  by Felinfoel Community Events and Felinfoel Brewery.
