A video posted on social media showed a large crowd of people outside the home in Felinfoel where the man had been placed. The police arrived and took the man away by van. People commented that the police should be ‘protecting residents’.
Around 50 people People shouted out as the man was led away. Some shouted ‘Nonce’ and ‘Paedo’ as he was led into the police van.
Dyfed-Powys Police said: “A decision on where an individual is housed after leaving prison is made at a MAPPA (multi-agency public protection arrangements) meeting, where risk assessments – including community impact – would be discussed.”
