Llanelli Council officials attend Bryngwyn School Prize Evening

Cllr Susan Phillips Chairman of Llanelli Rural Council and Consort Cllr Andrew Stephens, attended Bryngwyn School Prize Evening recently.

Vice Chair of Governors Cllr Giles Morgan welcomed the pupils and guests to the presentation evening.

Cllr Stephens a past pupil of Bryngwyn School presented awards to pupils for the following categories.

“The Llanelli Rural Council Award” for pupils who have demonstrated the highest level of care or support for others.

“The Emyr Woolford Award” for Achieving success through adversity and the “Communities First Trophy” for outstanding contribution to supporting the community.

Town Mayor Cllr Nick Pearce and Mayoress Mrs Kate Pearce were also part of the civic party.
