Following an incident in Llanelli which involved EOD officers and a police cordon of 100metres, a man has been charged following a warrant conducted at New Dock Road, Llanelli on Wednesday June 11.

Timothy Jones, aged 57, from Llanelli has been charged with possession of an explosive substance for unlawful purpose and possession of a firearm.

Dyfed-Powys Police would again like to thank the local community for their support whilst officers dealt with the incident.
