Leading business support organisation announces £7,000 raised for Cancer Research Wales

Menter a Busnes, a leading business support and development organisation, is delighted to announce that it has raised £7,000 for Cancer Research Wales throughout the 2023/24 financial year, as part of its charity of the year partnership. Cancer Research Wales is an independent Welsh charity and the only charity wholly dedicated to funding cancer research in Wales for Wales. The funds were raised through a variety of fundraising activities undertaken by staff throughout the year.

Menter a Busnes is also proud to announce its continued support for Cancer Research Wales for another year. This decision comes as a valued member of their team, Elan Davies, is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

Elan Davies said, “I’m incredibly grateful for the support of my colleagues at Menter a Busnes throughout my treatment, and I’m very proud and fortunate to work for a company that supports its employees and making a positive impact in the community. Contributing to research that could benefit people here in Wales, facing diagnoses similar to mine, motivates me even more in my own battle.”

Menter a Busnes employees went above and beyond to raise funds for Cancer Research Wales. Their efforts included a team of 20 members of staff participating in the Cardiff Half Marathon, organising a festive Christmas jumper day, and hosting a fun filled bingo night.
