Menter a Busnes is also proud to announce its continued support for Cancer Research Wales for another year. This decision comes as a valued member of their team, Elan Davies, is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
Elan Davies said, “I’m incredibly grateful for the support of my colleagues at Menter a Busnes throughout my treatment, and I’m very proud and fortunate to work for a company that supports its employees and making a positive impact in the community. Contributing to research that could benefit people here in Wales, facing diagnoses similar to mine, motivates me even more in my own battle.”
Llŷr Roberts, CEO of Menter a Busnes, said: “We are incredibly proud of the fundraising efforts of our staff throughout the year. Cancer Research Wales is a charity close to our hearts, and we’re especially touched by Elan’s courage, resilience, and positivity in the face of her diagnosis. In continuing our support, we hope to play a small part in finding new treatments and helping those, like Elan, who are affected by cancer, ultimately contributing to a healthier Wales.”
Menter a Busnes employees went above and beyond to raise funds for Cancer Research Wales. Their efforts included a team of 20 members of staff participating in the Cardiff Half Marathon, organising a festive Christmas jumper day, and hosting a fun filled bingo night.
Iwan Rhys Roberts, Communications and Marketing Manager for Cancer Research Wales said:”We are incredibly grateful for the continued and generous support of Menter a Busnes. Thanks to kind donations like these, we can continue to fund the best researchers, clinicians and health professionals to push the boundaries of cancer research discoveries here in Wales. These donations truly make a difference to our work.”
Menter a Busnes recognises the importance of a healthy population for a thriving Wales. By supporting Cancer Research Wales, the company goes beyond its core activities, actively contributing to the well-being of future generations. This commitment aligns perfectly with the company’s values and its vision for a healthier and more prosperous Wales.
