Man jailed following assault on emergency worker

A 28-year-old man has been jailed following a breach of restraining order and assaulting an emergency worker.

Lloyd Watson Lloyd, of Bangor, appeared at Caernarfon Crown Court today Wednesday September 27th, following being charged offences including with harassment-breach of restraining order, assaulting an emergency worker and criminal damage.

He was sentenced to 20 months imprisonment.

District Acting Inspector Andrew Davies said: “We welcome today’s results which will have a positive impact on communities of Gwynedd North.

“Assaults against emergency workers will not be tolerated.

“We will deal robustly with anyone who not only sees fit to assault police officers, but also proves to be a persistent drain on our resources with his criminal behaviour.”
