THE First Minister’s refusal to answer questions in the Senedd is a “sad day for democracy”, Plaid Cymru leader has said
Plaid Cymru leader, Rhun ap Iorwerth MS said:
“It is the responsibility of an opposition leader to hold government to account.
“The First Minister’s refusal to answer questions in the Senedd relating to evidence already heard at the UK Covid inquiry is a sad day for democracy.
“The Labour Welsh government is developing a growing reputation for running away from scrutiny.
“You cannot seek power without accepting the responsibility which comes with it.”
