Amber warning for much of Wales as Storm Ciarán hits

THE Met Office has issued amber warning of wind which is likely to cause significant disruption across the country.

There is also a yellow warning for localised flooding on roads and coastal areas.

This could result in flooding to homes and businesses, delays or cancellations to train and bus services, and possible power cuts and loss of other services. Spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures, so please drive carefully and be mindful of changing conditions.

There are a number of flood warnings in place for rivers across Carmarthenshire, for more information visit the Natural Resources Wales website is updated every 15 minutes. If you are concerned about flooding call the Floodline on 0345 988 1188.
